Naked Dickin
The word is quite literal. It refers to having sex without any form of birth control. The dick is naked people! Hence, the term Naked Dickin. I can (AND WILL) go on and on about Naked Dickers. (People who recklessly have Naked Dick sex) That's another time and another word.
Talking about naked dickin... it's a shame we have to live in fear of disease! All dicks should be able to be naked. lmao...
OH NO! That's nuckin Futs!
But I do get the sentiment and agree probably on a completely different level.

What I Learned In Church: Temptation, Excuses and Focus
Some announcements: The church is sorry for the delay in delivering the message this week. Perhaps it was meant to serve those who resolve to change Sunday afternoon and only make it to Wednesday before they are sinning again. No names on that one. Plus, it being Valentine's day, the naked-dickers might need a word before they get off into their plans for the evening.
Also, the interaction has dwindled lately in these blogs. I see that you are reading. But my blogs are a contact sport. Feel free to slap me upside the head with whatever you are feeling at the time. Anything. Anytime. Everyone!
Today, we will be reading In Genesis, Romans and Mark:
In Genesis, temptation and sin begin. AS WELL AS EXCUSES! Eve is tricked into eating the forbidden fruit and convinces Adam to do so. Immediately after, the finger pointing and deflecting begin. True to naked-dicker form, The World's First couple refused to accept responsibility for their own actions.
In Romans, if one man (Adam) can begin sin and lead us to death, then one man (Jesus) can bring salvation and lead us to life. So even after all the shit we've gotten ourselves into, Jesus gives us a way out.
In Mark, Jesus was tempted as he fasted. Contrary to popular opinion, it was not easy. Even for God in the flesh, the devil is stronger than mere temptation. He is Peer-Pressure to the max! Take it from a man who has been called the devil for tempting my peers to sin, Jesus had a tough time in the wilderness.
We have always been tempted. We always will be. Never is there room for excuses. We will fall. And we will GET RIGHT BACK UP! We will get stronger. It will never be easier. Ask a weightlifter. He/She will start out lifting One Hundred and some odd pounds. And today they lift Over Three Hundred. They got stronger. It did not get easier. It's still Three Hundred pounds. Get stronger. In prayer. In focus. In drive. In commitment. In dreams. In Goal setting. In life. In Love. In family. In friendship.
Life is tough. It gets hard. It doesn't matter how hard we hit. It's how hard we can get hit. And get back up and keep on keepin on.
That is what Lent is! It is defeating temptation so that we can pray, listen, focus.
Lent is not about giving up candy. We give up what distracts us from our goals. WE LISTEN. WE FOCUS. We may need the whole six weeks of Lent to get to the level focus we seek to achieve.
So, a few days late I know what to give up for Lent. What I'm giving up for EVER is excuses. I'll start with lent and if I fall, I'll just jump right back up and go at it harder.
We are all weak. But we can be strong. That is the glory of GOD. We proclaim God's ability to do anything. If we call ourselves Christian, we must know WE can do anything too! We must believe that. We must LIVE that!
I think I remember hearing the same verses in Church too. But then again, I slip and forget how Catholics use the miselettes (Don't know if I spelled that right, but I tried). The Lenten season should be used as a time of reflection and focus. In giving up something, you should focus on other things. That's what it's about. I hear friends that are Catholic talk about giving up various things for Lent. But, i would challenge them to improve something about themselves during Lent. To me, that's what this time is about. If we're to get closer to God, I believe that we have to be the best people that we can be. So by sacrificing and focusing, we can try to improve upon our flaws and thus become more God-like and become the people He truly wants us to be. You're right, it's NOT an easy thing to do, but it's possible...attaining our full potential that is. So my challenge to everyone during this time would be don't just sacrifice for the sake of appearances and then go around letting everyone know what you gave up (I believe there is a scripture that says we should sacrifice willingly and not for public acknowledgement). Sacrifice privately but let that sacrifice improve your focus and bring you closer to God by you being able to become a better person.
I told you! I am glad you liked. I hope I can continue to speak to people
When I look at you I could never imagine those words coming out of that brain of yours. Normally when I read your blogs I'm in an "whatever" mode, but todays bolg actually hit home. Life is filled with trials and temptations and I am a witness, I am tempted sorely everyday. Somedays I feel like I should stop resisting and just give in, but I know I can't. I know God has a plan for me. "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you a hope and a future". I paraphrased that verse, it's somewhere in the book of Jerome, who when he stopped giving into temptation, later changed his name to Jeremiah. (sorry I couldn't resist LOL). There are many things in my life that I need to give up and give over to God without looking back. Thanks Jason!!!...we fall down but we give up...(I would insert music notes but there are none on the keyboard).

2008 - Some New Year Announcements
OK! I'm back.
It's 2008.
I'm about to be 30.
It's a New Year.
I don't usually make resolutions (mostly because I don't remember to make them until after I 've broken everything I might have thought of previously). Plus, I believe in continual and unending growth. It just so happens though that 2007 was so interesting and changing, I am forced to make some declarations for 2008.
Declaration 1 - I'm coming strong with the N word.
The fact is. Naked-Dickers have become a people onto themselves. Niggahs, I have found to be distinctly different. Niggardom has become vogue. The problem I face is with it being OK to be as trifling, lazy, ignorant and disrespectful (to others and to one's self) as any niggah could ever be defined but it is not OK to say anything about it. It's one thing to leave retards alone. I won't say anything about them. Retards never hurt anyone. But niggahs!!! NIGGAHS!!! These niggahs will be the ruin of modern society. (Watch "Idiocracy")
So know I'mma call you out! And I mean it in a bad way. So be ashamed. Niggahs – I'm talking to you!
Declaration 2 – I'mma fight somebody!
I'm not beefing right now. But I may have been a little too non-confrontational in the recent past. It's about time that I start punking people again. That being said, I am pretty certain I'll have to punch someone in the lip sometime this year. I've been doing pushups and abstaining most of last year. Watch out!
I gotta go now, we don't have to make all our resolutions today. We have a lifetime to learn and grow.
All I have to say is CHUUUUUUUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear your blogs never seem to disappoint
So Deep
Dec 1 - :)
Dec 2 - :(
i like the lovah. be a lovah, not a fightah.
OH I'm a lovah! A TOUGH Lovah. The dark will strike out in response to my light. I'm just going to have to strike back sooner or later.

What I learned in Miami: A Few Things About Me
Current mood: optimistic

Just a few things about me
On my trip to Miami this weekend I learned a few things about my self. It makes sense to me to share sense some of my readers are here on the pretense of getting to know me. (It may help some of my friends as well.) So here it is:
I'll never tell
I know I promised to share some of the things that have been going on with me lately regardless of who is involved and what comes of it. The real problem with that is I have never been one to talk about other people. I can speak in general terms but I cannot mention specific names and situations. My friends will remember that in all my stories I only refer to people as "the homie", or "this girl" or some "relative." No names, no dates, nothing that will connect any person to their specific story. The reasons are twofold. One is, I don't anyone ever speaking about me by name. I know that people do, but I would prefer if they didn't. The legend of "LA" is too big for me to ever dream of living up to it or living it down. The other reason is, I imagine my friends meeting each other one day. I don't want to be the one to influence first impressions. Even if the impression is good, it's better that people make their own impressions on each other. I don't want them to have to live up to or live down anything that someone else said about them. All this means for you, my readers, is I will have to figure some other way to share my life with you all. Plus, I still want you to buy my books. My published life story will include all the names, dates and vivid details. This is just a teaser
I Don't Chase, I Facilitate
So many people have hooked up because of me, the legend of "LA" has led people to believe that I have game. The same can be said about people who see the way I handle myself around women. Nothing could be further from the truth. Being in the south where women are not as aggressive as I am used to, I have come to realize it's not my style to chase, court or even approach women. I may get wild, belligerent, and even mannish at times but, the truth is, of the all the women and girls I've dated, I have only successfully approached one girl. And I was thirteen when that happened. All the rest approached me first. Anyone who knew me when I was in Junior High knows I wasn't prepared for the change once I actually started dressing and grooming a little bit better. Since then, I'm such a literal believer in the idea that women choose, I never subscribed to the chasing women thing. Plus, I associate that behavior with "naked-dickers" (word to be defined later) and I try to distance myself from them as much as possible. Don't believe in the legend, I don't have women chasing me down the street. In fact, I stay dateless for long periods. I still get it poppin on a regular basis. And I have so many friends most of whom are platonic females, I couldn't ask for much more. I leave the serial dating to the naked-dickers.
Me.
I'm in search of a once in a lifetime opportunity. That means that if I approach you and I'm not trying to hook you up with one of my boys, I see potential. And if you approach me and end up staying in touch longer than two weeks (My attention span), I see potential. When people ask me what type of woman I like my response is always one thing, assertive. If you want to be temporary, you can stay passive and with any luck you can catch me when I'm belligerent and mannish, and you will stay temporary. For anything else, step up.
You Are Not Invited
As I mentioned before, "LA" is always into something. Whoever wants to roll can do just that. My one rule is - If you know, you can go. I'm not so formal with invitations. In fact, I flat out will never invite you anywhere. There always being an exception to every rule, know that when I go through the formalities of inviting you, I truly would not be able to enjoy myself without your company. My feelings will be hurt if you don't show and I will cry. I mention this about me because of the legend. The legend has many believing that I roll with this imaginary elite entourage and everyone else is not worthy. Not true. Ask my bartenders, I'm mostly alone when I roll out. I'm out of the promotion business. If I tell you I'm going you better get ready. Or better yet, if you stay ready, you don't have to get ready. I will roll to church, the bar, the movies, Apache, whatever and I refuse to ruin my experience or spend my energy convincing someone to go where they don't want to go.
This goes for dating as well (see above). I may ask a woman out once and leave an open invitation if we can't make a date then. After that, I'm rolling. I ain't go miss "Talk To Me" (A GREAT movie!!! Go see it and don't tell my friends I went without them.) waiting on someone to make up their mind or put their shoes or make up on. I repeat - If you stay ready...
I thought this was going to be a huge revelation but I knew that about you when you lived in New Orleans.
Yeah. This is for the new people.
Hey bro,
We do have a lot in common....hahaha. Is it cause we are both from the SHAW? Very deep revelations. I concur with you 100 percent, we don't have to beg anyone to go out with us, if they want they will come, if they don't then we go out by ourselves and meet the ones that like to roll like us.....I think that is better that way sometimes.
FYI, I married my high school sweetheart.....till this day, when I go clubbing, I go out by myself with the homies because she doesn't like to......Like I said above, if they don't want to go out, we go out ourselves.....
Peace
