Jesse Jackson (Done Pulled Me Of My Vacation!)

He done done it again! BUT! What he has done and it will come to pass in the near future is solidify Barack Obama's influence BEYOND Black America.



You know I have been telling yall Barack is not dependent on just being Black or just being a man or just having a white mother or being from Chicago/Hawaii. And now the experts are saying it loudly. (The experts like to steal my shit.)



I was listening to Michael Baisden and he announced – Jesse Jackson had to make a public apology. I thought, 'Oh Lord, this niggah done got caught trying to fuck the wrong person.' Then Michael Baisden said it was in regards to statements made about Barack Obama. Now why he wanna go and do that?



What is truly wrong with Jesse Jackson? He has been accused (in smaller circles) of complicity in the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.. He has too much money to just be the grassroots organizer he claims to be. He's fathering children out of wedlock. (I'm big on this one because men/women who attach Reverend [or any other moral title} to their name are expected to exhibit a higher level of self control [Billy Graham]) And now, he wanna try Barack Obama!



Notice, I'm not mentioning the actual comment. Some of us like to get caught up and end up side tracked. As I was watching CNN, these things were said about Barack Obama:


1. This man (If the polls are right) is tapped to be the next president of the United States of America.

2. "Barack does not need the Black vote to win the presidency"

3. Jesse Jackson will end up doing more damage to himself than Barack Obama with these comments.



Which brings me back to - what is wrong with this man? Is he truly jealous of Obama's success? Or is Jesse Jackson truly for sale? And who is paying?



These are the real issues caused by this incident. I hope this does not become divisive. Because if it does, it will almost solely affect the Black community. Black America doesn't need that. Not now.



A change is coming. Barack is coming. If people want to stay stuck on the same old shit, that's just what they'll be stuck with. Old shit.






People, get ready. As Jesse Jackson will find out (and he won't be the last), Barack Obama is a rock that many people will destroy themselves upon when they try him.


it takes us, as the younger gerations, to rise above the negativity put forth by any one person. If we don't, we fall victim to the same thought process that keeps those with older schools of thought, stuck in just that... their older schools of thought. The comment made was assinine, and probbly was, in fact, rooted in jealousy. In any case, you are correct... it will hurt MR. Jackson much more than Senator Obama...

Don't think that had nothing to do with the conservative black segment rushing to Rev. Jackson's aide. They better watch out. I'm on the Obama bus and you can roll with it or under it...

Well I wanted to read the blog twice before I responded; and here is my responce. I agree with the previous comment about the older school of thought. We have to understand that at the end of the day these people(Jesse Jackson, etc.) who consistantly say the most unwarranted statements regarding Mr. Obama are human. I dont uphold these people who have reverend, Pastor, or any other type of moral title to a higher degree than myself. As long as im doing what im supposted to do(Election, life, etc.) then I can go to sleep at night just fine regardless of what someone says, thinks, or projects negatively about me personally or professionally. I think we are doing ourselves a disservice when we look to people like Jesse Jackson to consistantly say, act, and think on the same level as the rest of the Black community. HE IS GONNA FUCKUP ONE TIME OR ANOTHER LIKE HE HAS DONE IN THE PAST PEOPLE!!!! We really are selling ourselves short to look to these people as moral inhibitors for upliftment in our community(let alone personally). We need to look inward and grab that SOMETHING that inhibits us to do better, and at the same time help the next man or woman do better!

He is The REVEREND Jesse Jackson! That should mean more than making some CRAZY [but really sexy] church girl hot.
